Were you born between 1970 and 1996? Have you seen your Ontario vaccine card in a while? You know, the yellow one with all the important vaccines you got as a baby? We are talking pertussis, Measles tetanus, diphtheria and all the other vaccines included in the T-dap, the vaccines that kept all the Gen-Xs covered as kids. Due to the measles outbreak in Ontario, which is currently larger than the one going off in Texas right now, and has caused New York State to publish a travel advisory for Ontario, you might want to dig that yellow slip of paper out and review the contents.
Who would have thought in the year 2025, when computers are generating alternate realities in music, pictures and writing, the advent of centralized search engines and cloud computing that we need to go dig into our basements to find the only record of our health history? That is the reality today in Ontario despite the technology of the Tap2Tag medial card system, already in use in the U.K., and available to Canada from a Canadian company with Canadian servers. Navigating the health system is hard enough! With insurance providers, benefits at work and lost documents or retiring doctors wouldn't it be better to have all those documents digitized and centralized in a secure Canadian system that we can rely on to be safe after a natural disaster or just a simple misplacement?
WHY IS TAP2TAG MEDICAL DIFFERENT TO THE REST?
There is no other system in the world that offers this level of comprehensive data storage and gives you ultimate control over that information. It's a life saving and life changing product that already benefits thousands of people. So if you have epilepsy, diabetes, heart condition, Crohns disease, Addison's disease, dementia or autism then this is a must. But don't think of this as a product for just those with medical conditions. If you enjoy running, cycling or even tri-athlons then your training regime is an important part of your preparation for events. And as you pound the road or cycle that 15% gradient have you considered what would happen if you need emergency help a Tap2Tag health card or wristband could be the answer.
Once you have found your little yellow paper from childhood you can check your vaccines and make sure you have gotten the right ones. Even still, you may need to get a booster to keep yourself and your family safe from this mounting threat in Ontario. Call your doctor, keep an eye on health advisories because Measles is a problem and it's growing. Tap2Tag has the solution for Ontario to keep people healthy with a centralized Canadian system that is proven to work. The only mystery is why isn't Ontario already using it?
